Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Forem Notes mobile application ("App") operated by Forem Notes ("we", "us", or "our").
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access or use the App.
Description of Service
Forem Notes is a productivity application that allows users to:
- Create and manage notes with text and images
- Create and manage to-do lists
- Set reminders and notifications
- Track subscription payments
- Share and collaborate on notes with other users
- Sync data across multiple devices
User Accounts
To use certain features of the App, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly update any changes to your information
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create within the App, including notes, lists, and attachments. By using our App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any applicable laws or infringe on the rights of others.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise our systems
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Distribute spam or unsolicited communications
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Forem Notes and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our App without our prior written consent.
Third-Party Services
Our App may integrate with or contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of such services is at your own risk.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forem Notes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through the App settings.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice in the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
